Hello everyone, the watch is assembled, one is a Vietnamese case, and the other is a homemade case, please enjoy and cheers.

The crown guards are definitely an improvement from Cartel cases. I like it! Would you sell them in the future?

Not sure what kind of machining capabilities or experience you have, but you have my respect for even attempting a 1675 case.

On the other hand... it’s not very convincing. Crown guards are too large and blocky. Spring bar holes look out of alignment on lugs.

What’s your end game here? Are you looking to produce and sell as a lower cost alternative to the Vietnam case?

Good eye Simonbolivar and I agree with Hor-Fan about the bezel, I think the result is very good anyway. Some reshaping on the CG's is in order but at least there is enough metal to work on.
The lug holes need to be addressed and imho the crown tube base is too distant from the bezel, check this pic:

It would also be interesting to see the lugs shape from the side

Looks like the lug bevel is off too - do you have lapping machine?

Anyway awesome work I know this is first attempt and you should master it soon.

Good luck

About CG,Is the author deliberately reserving room for later improvement? Personal opinion.

As long as I have enough material around the Cg I can reshape.. I might be in the minority but I prefer your lugs because it gives you more to work with in terms of softening and reshaping. Now.. if the cost is less than the VN you have my money!

Edit: Got the price— not all heroes wear capes is all I am saying!!

I am passionate about GMT, I made this case, the main purpose is to hope that CG there is enough metal to work.
For example SCG to PCG. Or modify it to a more retro and old case.
I will also modify Spring bar holes. After all, they are not perfect.
I am a vintage rolex fan. As long as I have time and enthusiasm, I will continue to work hard to make or transform what I want.

I'm sure whit a bit of more work your 1675 case can be the best case to build a 1675 out of!
Congrats for the splendid work!
