Just finished up this little guy. I love it and can’t take it off my wrist. I absolutely love these folded rivet bracelets. These JK vintage watches sure have a lot of potential for modding.

Modified JK case with vintage aged dial
Lug holes drilled
crown guards reshaped
gen insert aged
Vietnam 7206 vintage modified bracelet
clarks T-19
athaya 702 crown and tube
Stock DG2813 movement for now.... keeping good time -2 to +3 sec / day in five positions. Not bad for a budget movement.

Great friend, just do these jobs for yourself, or even on request?

I just do it for myself. Fun hobby. It takes a lot of hours to build these vintage pieces and replicate the natural aging. I’m no pro like Trip or Kilo but I’m learning.

Nice work, I like the rough puffy lume. Clark crystal and Vietnam bracelet are a great improvements over stock parts

She needs a couple more rounds of polishing on the case sides and crown guards but that’s easy. I’ll do that this week.

Dizzy,
Look good as is. I would not touch it.
Very consistent and believable aging.
Extraordinary job on a bracelet!

I love it, especially the bracelet. Is that 7206 from Ruby?

Re-luming a dial is not easy at all! When you see someone who has nailed the process you know it! The great thing about creating a vintage watch is that there are no rules only vision and skill. Its posts like this that motivate me. Great job man

Beautiful piece. And, man how I wish I had kept that gen 5512 I bought almost 20 years ago. Yours makes me want a franken or modded rep. Just gorgeous!

Great job there Dizzy! :D

Any tips to case reshaping from yourself? I just got myself a dremel and a bag of sandpaper to get down and dirty for fun too. Lol.
