Dude… It’s a 55 year old watch. The hands aren’t supposed to match…

lol

Yes, Genuine 55 year old watches sometimes have hands that age differently or at a faster pace than the dials for a multitude of reasons. But the hands are usually darker than the dial if they’re both original (as in they were installed at the same time) from what I’ve seen.

Either way, just an observation. Awesome watch tho!

I’ve seen more than a few 1675s that have replacement hands on original dials.

This yodog is the same…

As well Rolex would replace hands on these watches most often when the lume broke.

Again quite common..

I agree, in my experience hands with lighter colored lume are more common than vice versa

is not for criticism, but those hands are too new fo a 55years old watch.....

But it's only my opinion!

Mismatching is often the case if you send an older Rolex to the Rolex Service Center. I have a gen sub 16800 from 1985 and they replaced the tritium hands, bezel insert, and dial with Super Luminova with out my approval. I went back and forth with them but never got the originals back with the exception of the Bezel insert.

So in my opinion there is a lot of new/old mix out there in the gen space.

One thing I have noticed is that the case seems slightly different on the vietnam PCG 1675 example vs the regular vietnam 1675 example. They both have excellent DIAL DEPTH and this is really what you are paying $750 for a vietnam 1675 case NOT the crown guards…
