Age case and bezel, check if it's possible to change or mod the dial.

That is the first thing I did to mine; gave the case a subtle kicking with some sandpaper. Less so on the bezel cos, wrong as it is, I like the newness.

Looking at pictures of Gens though, I think the clasp and endlinks are totally wrong - unless someone says otherwise - and that's what annoys me the most at the minute.

What type of clasp and endlinks should be on this watch?

Yuki or Vietnam sellers have the best 7206 with 80 endlinks afaik. Rafflesdials has a cheaper version too but with 580 endlinks

Nice one, thanks!

Honestly, can't see much difference between them, except the x5 times the price on the Yuki...

Found a gen vs Yuki comparison and I'm not 100% sure if Yuki is worth the extra money: https://rwg.cc/topic/175869-yuki-7206-rivet-bracelet-comparison/#elComment_1390978

Yuki bracelet is thinner, has a better (correct shape and dimension) clasp, correct endlinks, feels smoother and is shorter. I prefer raffles ones for my 18.5 cm wrist for this last reason

Guy without change the bracelet (the yuki is too much expensive) do you think better choice is the TS-watch with folded bracelet or rivet bracelet ?
Because in the past i have had a cheap 1665 with an orribile rivet bracelet that immediately I throw in the garbage ..it was to shiny and like metal sheet..

According to the Yuki webpage, that bracelet is no longer available so it might be a moot point. It does at least have the correct endlinks which would make a big difference imo. The Raffles bracelet has the same incorrect endlinks that comes from TS so what's the point?

Re the rivet bracelet that comes with the TS watch, it's not that bad; a typical rattly, vintage bracelet, it's just the incorrect endlinks that really stand out.

To be fair, I can't see the difference between the 80 endlinks and the 455B. Even the fitting on the bracelet looks the same to me except for the engraved ref. number.

Really? My eyes are normally dreadful at spotting tells on watches, but these endlinks scream out at me. The 80s look more like a straight line almost level w with the ends of the lugs where they meet the bracelet as per the Gen photo below, whereas the TS endlinks have an indentation in the endlinks where an extra 'link' from the strap sits (my rep, bottom).
