I’m not 100% certain, the bezel track looks like it may be a separate piece pressed into the case to secure the crystal.

I’m hesitant to try and pry it without a proper bezel removal tool for fear of damaging the profile.

Yes that is the same kinda of bezel assembly as my VN piece. You should be able to remove it with little issue using a single sided razor blade

Thanks Jsebwc , the razor blade worked.

The retaining ring fits perfectly around the Clark’s crystal I have, but the sidewall of the crystal is to thick to fit around the mount.

Hor-Fan i see you have another albino dial you would like to install. Are you able to experiment with the stock dial? I would like to know if it is possible to remove the „seppico y laino“ text from the dial.

I considered that for a few minutes, but I think it would not be possible without defacing the paint underneath.

Anyone of you has experience with the albinos Yuki Dial?
​​​​​​For a budget build it seems the best option (Ruby is out of stock until further notice anyway). With some DIY job that could be a sub 500 build.

It doesn't look good indeed. I was thinking oven... Then scratch the lume around the edges. My wife is pretty good with a pencil so a full relume would be an option too.

Ok, I will try out to strip the text marks from the old HR glossy dial by using nail lacquer remover and report about the progress later today.

Yeah, a few 1675s have OCC but no 6542s have SCOC.

Thank you both for bringing it up. Not a deal breaker as far as I'm concerned. I definitely see such a build as an homage. Anyone who knows a bit about watches would know it can't be the real deal even if 100% correct.

​​​​​​I mean, who would casually wear a 60 years old watch worth half a million? I have an Andy warhol lithograph at home, it's not the real deal, no one would think it is and I don't pass it as one. But it's beautiful and fits perfectly in my living room. I imagine the 6542 to be the same on my wrist!
