What would be the cheapest option to build an outstanding watch with no GEN parts in your opinion?

Hmm outstanding in my eyes is with valjoux 72..get a good dial with gen coronet, phong hands, good case and gen crown and have it assembled..will still run you around 5k.

anyone know what other mods need to be done on a v72 dial to be fitted to a cartel st19 based daytona besides freezing 6 o clock? dial feet removal?
