Who has the best 5513 dial?

I m trying to improve my 5513. Replaced the insert, pearl, acrylic lens, now it’s gonna be the dial and hands

I have been searching and can’t find a decent 5513 dial. In fact, I m looking for one with wg indices. Any seller rwi memebers would recommend?

Rolex has the best dials ... wg indices ?? WTF? yo kidding right? ... vintage watchmaker and MQ if you want to get serious. Suggest spend some time reading the forum is good for that

Chill buddy. I know WG indices isn’t everyone s cup of tea, but i like it and I m not afraid to admit.

Btw thanks for the link. It helps. I have been trying to go through all the posts, too bad that I don’t have much me time, haha.

I am chilled, it's your watch do as you will you have to wear it not me. You do understand 5513 never existed with WG indices that's all .. good luck with your project

If WG indices is your thing, go with a genuine dial.

Yeah, I hate those ridiculous mid 80's transitional WG 5513's...especially with those stupid lug holes...

Bicchierini dials were introduced in 1983 on subs. So there are several 5513 with it (the 5513 stopped production in 1990)... even older 5513 that got a service dial may have it.

Thank you for all the reply. The pictures are beautiful!! I realized that none of the seller sell a dial like that. It’s right about going gen.

I think Yuki has 5513 dials closes to gen.

Take a look at ebay, there where two 5513 WG indices dials advertised a few days/weeks ago.
Perhaps you can also source one at chrono24 (part section)
The WG dials are also looking amazing. It looks than nearly like a complete other watch compared to the “old“ dials.

Thanks for the head up! i think it's gonna take me awhile to source one good spider. In the meanwhile i will spend some time on the case.

- Drill lug hole with #55 bit to fit gen spec 2mm spring bar
- Athaya 702 crown and tube
- Clark's T19 Super Dome
- Clark's bezel assembly (May be? The inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the T19... Great if anything have and fix for that)
- Clack's dark blue bezel insert (Aged and currently mounted on)
- Gen 5513 Spider Dial (If everything worked perfectly); HR/YUKI Dial for alternative.

How's that sound?

^^This is what I found - and it hit my sweet spot after dozens of other builds! If you can find a gen dial under $500, then that's a deal. Maybe $400 if you wait a long time and get lucky. Spider - now that's a cat of a different color...$$$

bobandshawn appreciate the advice. I can hardly find anything close to 500 on the bay and it seems like not many dial sale going on in the trade section neither. I even saw a sale post asking 1000+ for a redial!! That’s ridiculously

HR just sent me a pic of the dial. The 3D Luke dot just doesn’t seem right to me. I have to do some more digging.

Did you inquire with HR about making a custom one with WG indices instead of plots. They've made a few one-offs for me, it wasn't particularly cheap but they do it.

I paid $140 for the custom dials I ordered, $75 for additional dials with the same set-up ordered at the same time. Send MK a pic and be very specific about your needs, sometimes there's a slight language barrier with him,her,them.

May I ask, who is HR? One can custom order a dial from HR? The price seems attractive. Hope you don't mind sharing. Thanks.
