Hello, I would like to improve my cartel with ruby sigma dial and a T21 plexi, what do you think?
It would be better a big red dial to join hands and pushers or could be ok also with a sigma?
Regards

Hi,

I'm new to the whole Daytona building so if someone could try to point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. I've been in contact with Ruby about some dials. It says that they fit the v72 movement. Would they be able to fit the ST19? Maybe with shaving the feet a little or some sort of mod? Has anyone done this. yodog probably does it but just want to be sure before spending a ton of money on a dial. Thanks in advance. (Sorry for the noob question if it is one)

Dials for the v72 will fit the cartel movement but the pivot at 6 ‘o’clock needs to be moved up as it’s too low on the cartel watch, it’s non functional so not a big deal and is a common mod these days, but not for the inexperienced or cack handed, it’s possible to do it yourself if you are brave, or you can pay someone like yodog to do it and has probably done this mod a 100 times.

Ahhh. I appreciate the response boss. Thank you for easing my mind. Figured yodog knows what to do. I'll probably take your advice and have him do the work for me so that I don't mess it up on such an expensive dial.

Thanks bro,
Dial originally Ruby but modded with gen coronet gen indexes original tritium indexex “OT TO” modded to original looking.
Gen hands
Gen crown and tubus, 703 one not the 702, because better waterproofing. Gen pushers and theirs tubus too.
Gen crystal
Case ruby with correct serial number for this build and bezel too, gen case back gasket
Gen complete band with 557B end links.
Movement was the most important part of this build. I wanted to have a beautiful finish movement, because most of them are really poor on finishing and technically not so good enough. Am lucky to have 2 originals 727 movements, even those are not so good on finishing, but technically where the case holders are, it’s really good for the movement, because not perturbed barrel and balance wheel. 727 is also more precise because running 21600 and not 18000 like most of 72 despite the 726 and some later 730. Finishing of wheels, those of train wheels are also really good. Balance wheel and bridge of 727 not so good, because this early generation of microstella wheels wasn’t so easy to regulate.
As I would like to be proud of my build have decided to used the best of 727 and add my own évolutions and finishing.
So from barrel to pallet folks is 727, setting level and upper parts of mainplate from 727, barrel bridge and train wheels bridge 727, chrono hammer and some of others chrono parts from 727 but not all, 4 of them. Rest coming from a 726 in which have done the necessary finishing job on edges. Mainplate not the 727 but 726 one that have the 3 screws to hold the dial on side like the 727. Balance wheel is from 726 with a really basic regulated system, not the one of 727 that is really a nightmare to regulate and really not precise.
