I rubbed off the decal at 11:00. New one is on the way from HR but it is a 20-30 day wait for it to get here from Hong Kong.
It was my first mod so I cant be upset. Happens to everyone. @tripdog said to post for sale for around $20 to help recoup cost of new one.
Ouch ! How did you damage the paint ?
It only remains to sand and use it for decal support.
Inspired by [MENTION=93698]Retina[/MENTION], I drew two tropical dials for 6200 and 6538
I don't know what it will take when printed.

No, It was a HR dial and was for a 2836, i'm using a 2813 so i removed them.
A 5513 tropical ?

Very impressive Bart!Gold leaf received last week, and dial dots holes filled with welding.
Gold leaf applying is very difficult
With decal
After 3 varnish layers.
Another varnish layer applied this evening. I hope it's the last one. We will see...

WOW You are really taking this to another level.!! Were you finding that the brass was not as gilt as you were hoping? its hard to tell from the pics but they looked great!

Brass is gilt enough. But this dial plate have holes for 3D markers. I filled with solder and cover the dial with gold leaf.
My tropical print are not as sharp as black ones. Need to experiment before I could apply these on dial. [MENTION=93698]Retina[/MENTION] work is much better
All I can say is Genius!
