Got this off of ebay from a shop based in Florida that sells a lot of gen dials from various brands.

It's in good shape minus some marks on the indices. I cannot however find an example of a GMT Master that has this specific dial...

In particular the notches on the chapter ring are shorter, the Swiss marking is above/set into them, the coronet is short/stubby and lastly its marked "Oyster Perpetual Date" whereas most 16753s and 8s say "Oyster Perpetual". I did find a few black dials that have the OPD marking but no rootbeer dials.

the back looks like a gen dial, can't make-up the markings fully, I think I see Geneve.

Thoughts?

Oooh... I'm dying to get my hands on a nice nipple dial GMT.

The markings on the back are "BEYELER GENEVE". Beyeler being one of the well-known dial makers for Rolex. I've seen gen dials with the same repeated back stamp.

But with regards to the overall authenticity or not of yours - that's one for the experts round here!

Its a gen early 70s 1675 dial similar to
this model

Beyler Geneve is the manufacturer of the dial (period correct).
Hope that helps.

Thank you! I'm basically building your rootbeer there. So nice. Thank you for the info. I thought maybe reprint.

So who does these reprints? Rolex or someone else? Is it Likely that it was reprinted awhile ago and has just been circulating. Always curious of these things.

aftermarket. the ROLEX font is way too bold and flat. Gen print on these are raised.

I suggest going gen movement and hands, dont ruin it with ETA.

looks like the bottom font is original, top is 100% reprinted

This!
After closer inspection Ive noticed the difference in "thickness" and glossines of the bottom print vs not-so-much- raised and matte top print.
Good catch my friend @yodog

Weast!
All nipple dials should be "T SWISS T" any "Swiss - T<25" is a reprint. This is because the nipple dials have a lower tritium plot area than normal-sized indexes. This is the reason why Datejust/non-Sport model dials never had the "T<25" markings.

I would say the plate is likely original Beyeler, but the entire dial is reprinted and nipples reattached. Lume on the nipples look way too white as well.

As for "Oyster Perpetual" vs "Oyster Perpetual Date" OP can be on a four-digit nipple dial or an early five-digit nipple dial. OPD is exclusively on later five-digit (16753 / 16758) dials. Five-digit dials have a sunburst effect on the brown dial while the four digits are matte brown.

Very interesting and a wealth of knowledge. It will look great in my build none the less, just waiting on the donor bp1675 to arrive.
