I'm hoping the dial pattern is corrected on the black and white dial versions. I bought the JJF black dial (still have it) and always lusted after the white dial version but just couldn't justify having a second watch with the same fault.

One of my favourite reps, and much preferred over the current model.

But boy did the bracelet pull the hair out my arm!, and those screws on the back holding the bracelet by the other factory were as soft as swiss cheese. I will certainly consider it if the finish is at a higher level.

Can you please elaborate? I am seeing a gen dial that has the intersecting triangle pyramids on the white dial just the same. Which part of the pattern is wrong?

The only thing that is wrong that I can see is the cross is missing the beveling, but we've known that all VC reps don't have that. Also, the seconds hand has a blunt tip, vs gen is blunt, but not quite as blunt.

It looks wrong to me as well. The gen dial has the arrow pattern (for lack of a better description) offset (per majwilliams link). The MKS is arranged in a straight line down with no offset. My guess is they have bought all the old JJF stock/equipment and are using as is.

Intime site claims brushed titanium bezel in the deep stream version, not sure I believe it (However i would really welcome that)

Take a look at the triangles esp when comparing two lines of them. In gen the triangles bases face each other. In rep the triangles tip is pointing at other triangles base.

The boat on the case back seems to have always been difficult for the makers to get right, but it appears you will have to double-check you get one of the better ones, taking into account the two that are on intimes site.

Deep stream seems the best by a mile.

Bezel does indeed looked brushed so may well be titanium, which would be great, but not sure I like the look of those rough edges
