As per titile, the gen VC 47040 has a movement called cal.1126. I am not sure if the JJF 9015-based overseas 47040 feels like gen in this aspect.
As we know that the 9015 is uni-directional and has free-spinning, I wanted to know if the gen 47040 is uni-directional and has free-spinning as well.

Thanks in advance.

I searched online and found the cal 1126 is a bi-directional movement. It is based on Jlc bi-directional movement.

So the JJF overseas will be a pass for me. It is nowhere like gen in terns of feelings. Gen does not have free spinning or progressive date change. If they put in an 2892 this watch would have been perfect.

Perhaps you might consider the release by VC factory which is the best one around, its a bit pricey but worth it

Hi guys, as we are talking about the movement I have a quick question. Would an ETA 2836/2 fit this case. I know it's like 2mm thicker than the miyota.....anyone tried?

Please report back if you have success with 2892 or 2836. I am very interested.
