Quick update on my watch, still don’t know if it’s broken, but I took it to my local watch repair shop to take out some links for me as I don’t have the equipment. Somehow when I got it back they changed it to the right time so either my watch works and I’m stupid or it was a simple fix ahah

Quick way to find out. Again, try to set the time by yourself. If this time you manage to make this work your watchsmith propably fixed it by reengaging the yoke to the setting lever. If you don't manage, ask your smith how he did it.

Nope, still makes unpleasant noises when winding. Any ideas what it is?

Got my QC pics for my first rep. Looks great to me, at first I thought the 12 oclock marker was crooked but think it was just the lighting in one of the pics. However, what do people think about the edge of the bezel insert at 6 oclock? Looks like there's glue/dirt peaking out from underneath? I'm worried it may have been reworked at some point and now doesn't sit flush. Am I being too picky?? Apparently this example gave +0.1s/day so would be a shame to knock it back!

Who did you use olah? Crown height looks great on that one!

The dealer chosen has no impact on any qc aspects at all. It just boils down to what the TD receive from the factories. Theres no guarantee that any specific TD will get you a better watch. End of the day its your own QC that matters.

The crown tube looks good! I think it is as good as you can get.

The crown looks more like a v1 to me and the pearl seems a bit off.

Yeah looks like a V 1.5, pearl seems a bit off. If you not happy get another one
