Im gonna buy this and put on a rolex tube and crown cus I can
I picked up one as I've been interested in this model since it was announced. I have a gen BB Black in-house movement that I absolutely love but I was really interested in this new size.
Anyway, I'm very happy with this so far. Sure, the lume is slightly off but the way these gilt dials and hands catch the light in real world conditions makes it very very hard to notice. I'm pretty anal about these things but I don't think this is going to bother me much. The crown/tube length is definitely a non-issue for me.

Do you mind doing a side by side wrist comparison? I really wonder if the difference is noticeable. Your thought would be highly appreciated.

dial print seems to be a tell too if you have them both side by side but otherwise looks great

I created a quick GIF with a chazing time picture and two gens ones. I seems pretty spot on. The crown tube lenght don't seems that wrong but the crown seems to be the biggest tell. The rest could be either small differencies or optical illusion due to different focal lenght
This is AWESOME. Can really see insert width and crown AND pearl (pearl is the biggest bummer imho). Also the lack of “swiss time” is a bummer. You could make a living doing this. Thanks for taking the time.

Here are my quick thoughts and some quick pics
Lume mismatch between hands and dial less severe in real life. It's there but all QC pics are in extremely light making it appear worse than it really is. Doesnt bother me at all in real life
Crown tube is longer than gen but again 40x zoom QC pivs exaggerate it and it is a non issue for me as well
I find the crystal really well done
All and all ZF did a good job on a 1st release

Does it wear like a 16610? The other Tudor BB are awesome looking but just to damn big. Great pics!

It wears smaller than a 16610 in my opinion, much smaller than the 41mm black bay

from what i have read and watched, this model is almost three mm shorter at 11.9mm . I feel like it would wear so much more similar to a classic sub.

Yes it actually wears smaller than the 5 digit sub

Just got QC pics for one, what does everyone think?
It has the lum issues but the crown tube doesnt look as long as some I have seen on here.
I think the bezel looks ok but the lum dot really bugs me.
