I know this thread is old but it's stickied.

I started playing golf about two years ago with a donor set of really old Dunlops (maybe from early 90s?). I could barely hit a nice straight ball till this February. The irons were pretty much blades and the driver was puny!

Anyways, our local golf store had a Cobra F7 set for $300 so I jumped on that. Wow what a difference! I can hit bombs with my irons - 175 yards with a 7 iron and 150 with my 9 iron. The driver is also insane too. Never knew how much new equipment has changed!
