rotring 800 is quite a nice one... rotring 600 is also good, and 500 is very entry level.

 Thanks guys!

Mate...I can do a slimline pencil in a 0.5 in the timber of your choice, in stainless or gold.
I've been using mine for 4 years now, daily. No issue.
Pick a timber... If I have it, I can do it for less than that delivered.
PM me if you're interested.

Otherwise, I can do a cigar style with a 2mm lead.
Not everyone's cup of tea, but certainly nice to use.

Cigar looks like this.

I can't remember the last time I did a pencil without a pen...can't find a pic, but here's the style in a pen...basically, the same thing.

thank you.

the cigar looks awesome, however im not sure how id like the 2mm lead, i write hard and hold the pencil even harder. are the lines with a 2mm noticably thicker than a .05mm (like a real pencil that cant be sharpened)?

The non reusable ones have actually given me calluses on my fingers.

Where can i see the different types of wood / materials you can make them out of?

Thank you again.

The 2mm line is noticably thicker than a 0.5, but the clicker has a sharpener built into it.

The 0.5 slims are great...I love mine, but suggest HB rather than 2B leads..2B is a little soft, particularly if you're a power pressure writer!

You can find some timbers in this link. http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/pens-timber-106740
I can confirm if I do or don't have any if you ask.
I'm just a hobbyist mate...this isn't my bread and butter - I just do this to stay sane.

cheers,

G.

great..

my 3 favorite woods out of those pictures are:

1. Lace Sheoak
2. Coolabah
3. One of the Burl's (a) Myrtle (b) Maple (c) Eucalyptus

Have a few Questions as well:

Would this be a click top pencil or are there other options like twist?

How long would this take to make?

What would be the cost?

Thank you again.
