Hello everyone!

Any updates from those who ordered through TDS recently? How was your customs experience?

Hello everyone. Newbie here. I wanna ask if there are also available rep straps in Greenhills? Or they only sell watches?

Pare, why still look for a rep straps? Go for a aftermarket sa mga malls. Much better, or go for a gen straps since it's cheap kasi strap na lang. And NO they don't sell straps in greenhills

Mga bro. Ayon sa pagbabasa ko rito sa thread na ito.
Ang nakikita kong prob ng iba is yung pagpapadeliver ng item from TD papunta rito PH.
E ang naisip ko lang, what if ako yung mag take ng risk of ordering from a TD. Bale order kayo through me. Then syempre, pag nanjan na yung item, e padeliver ko na sa inyo or meet up. Then syempre price from TD + Risk factor fee. Haha. Ubra ba yung ganung set up?

Sorry bro but seems like a scam to me with that RISK FACTOR FEE you're talking about. Why did I say that? The TD's can send you another one if it was seized by the customs.

Depending how much you charge for the "risk factor" , I would use such a service.

Hi guys, kakabasa ko lang ng buong thread. So wala talaga bang ibang option other than Mang Loy for servicing at installation ng mga 2xAR xtal.

I managed to scrounge up a list of watchmakers from the Philippine watch club (info might be dated, and they're all talking genuine watch service). Take note that the contact information may be dated because the thread that compiled this was about a decade ago, but people have still been posting through said thread regularly up until today so I can confirm that these three are still in operation. I do want people to corroborate if they're okay with working on replicas.

Here you go. So the first post is super dated, and they slowly update the info and add some watchmakers in the threads. My post vetted out some of thoes that didn't have enough endorsements from people in the thread as well as those who have moved on to other related businesses (bigticclocks guy makes giant clocks now). I can also confirm that Mang Loy's contact information is up to date because it's the same one as the google maps contact info. I also didn't add some of those watchsmiths that were in areas like davao or cebu. I also contacted him yesterday with it, and there was a response. Still trying to confirm if he's willing to mod and service a rep. Will update if he replies to my texts.

Mang Andoy specializes in swiss gens, and charges reasonably according to the members. Mang Boy does both vintage and normal gens as well. Mang Loy is a real specialist with Seikos and vintage Seikos. All three, at least as far as I gleaned from the thread, are of high skill level, and charge reasonably unlike some watch centers. (Don't get me started on Rolex and Richemont group service intervals and prices...I've been hit hard there)

UPDATE: So I've contacted Mang Loy, and he says he's okay with high-end replicas with mods so long as you source them yourself, and source correctly. If anyone has the guts to contact Mang Andoy who is a gen expensive swiss watch specialist then I'll be in your debt.

Also, has anyone bought crystals from prof? I'm not sure how to pay him through paypal, and he seems like a really busy dude cause his replies are really concise

Have had a vintage watch serviced by Mang Boy. Got my gummed up watch cleaned and going smoothly. Didn't have replacement caseback seals for it though, but maybe becasue of the small size.

He's Ok and charges reasonably. Don't know if he does Reps, but Im sure he wouldn't mind being asked.
He does meet ups at Trinoma.

Can you post the pic of that watch that was serviced?
