According to National Registry, he's recertified so he's still an EMT. From what I can tell he's still with the Richland County SC EMS.

Beyond that, when others let it go, I let it go. I went to the extent I did before because I am a retired paramedic, and I took it personal because a brother EMT did this to fellow watch brothers and sisters. As tripdog said, many people had much information on this asshole, but didn't want to do anything. Well guess what people, this shit happened again by the same motherfucker, because YOU didn't want to get involved. Happy now???

We - staff, the board attorney, and I - had him nailed to the wall. Had someone done something and let me know as I asked, this guy would have lost his ability to make a living as an EMT...amongst other things. If anybody has other information regarding Cory Dean, I'm all ears, and I'll be happy to work with staff on this again. Anyway, if you file charges, let me know as soon as you have a case number. Also, let me know when he's taken into custody, and I'll contact National Registry on my end.

You guys went above and beyond the last time he did this. It's a shame not a single one of the victims wanted to spend TWO MINUTES to help you and the staff proceed. As you all warned, he did it again to our fellow members. It's a shame, I hope this time SOMEONE will take the steps necessary to press charges. BOD I salute you for your efforts when it happened last year, and stepping forward again to do what is right.

What's upsetting here - and this is going to upset some of you, but that's not my problem - is that Corey Dean has already scammed quite a few people on this forum.

Mods and long term members went to huge lengths to find him, find his employer and contact local LE, the forum's lawyer was also involved.

And then, despite everything being set up to facilitate legal action being taken by the victims against Corey Dean, all those that got scammed just decided to forget about it and move on - they were happy for other people to do all the hard work, but didn't want to put in that last bit of effort, so Corey Dean got away with it.

And guess what, he came back and did it again.

Yes and it shits me. Thanks to those people he's done it again. Makes me wonder why we bother sometimes.
