Afternoon mates,

Here's another Franken just finished by the one and only Domi.

Authentic Dial & Tachymeter Set
Edgematic v1 (2016) Older Version Date Window (may update to the v2 2017, although deem it unnecessary)
Swiss LWO283 Automatic Movement
Authentic AR Crystal
Authentic Gaskets
Authentic Minute & Hour Hands
JF Chrono Hands
Modded JF 1:1 Newest Construction Case (worked midcase inc: shaving from the inside, recessed crown positioning, other fine adjustments, case/pusher mods)
New Generation Custom Ring (around 10-12 hours in this piece alone to reach spec perfection)

By far the hardest part of the project was sourcing the dial and tachy, although knowing the potential of the project, I was reluctant to purchase the additional parts since I knew it would be pointless if at least the dial couldn't be found, nevertheless, I was in luck and purchased immediately and began the project and finished within 2 months.

Yet again, would like to shout out my personal watch maker Domi for always delivering the best quality. If only there wasn't a language barrier between us, but I'm to blame for skipping my German classes in high school :drinks:

I will probably need to modify chrono hands in order for it to be accurate to a T.
Some deem it unnecessary, but that could just be the inner OCD inside me haha

Chrono hands Are fine i think. But you sould consider Mikey or Edge V2 DW.

As stated above, a Mikey DW is a must have. I would consider also a new 'thinned' caseback and a brushed bezel

Despite the date window looking amazing for 44s, it doesn't match the gen bee window

@Swiss Made I know that AP used the white background DW, but many Gen owners switch their original DW with a black one. What I just did, or better, what Domi did for me and @tosoboso

Notice the gen model uses the standard date wheel with the classic font, black on white with the abbreviated accents.
With all of my projects I aim towards achieving as much perfection in relations to the gen spec.

As stated above, but elaborated:
Correct in original form - but several Gen owners had AP switch them (after the fact/later on down the line.) So both are correct and occur in Gen form, but with the white background certainly being more prevalent.

What I find amazing here is the relatively large number of BB Frankens given that the gen dial/tachy/hands were thought for many years to be unavailable on our grey market channels. To top it off, I have another BB Franken (not mine) I have been working on (see below). You guys can express yourself however you want with your DW colors and case finishing, that is really nice, but I suspect that tosoboso has the only BB Franken with proper sunken stem positioning and therefore an effortless crown feel.

But yes, @slaughterer62 has rightly pinpointed this sudden prolifieration of Bees. I figure I've made a 25% loss on the value of mine, just because there're now so many equally nice builds. And precisely because of this I had to commission the installation of a gen tube and crown, only to keep the relative equity of my investment who knew, Bee derivatives, that's where we're probably heading now
