Instant date change on clone movement

Hello,

ive got my rep with A3186 movemet and just want to ask why clone movements cant do "instant" date change like original? For example my date start running off 15 min before midnight and i take aprox 20 minutes to chanege completely. What part of watch is responsible for instant date change? Can i fix it? Thanks for answers

That movement is really just an eta 2824 and while gen ETA parts will improve it a bit, there isnt anything that will make it change instantly. It’s just the way it’s designed.

If you want something with instant date change that will fit into the watch you have get a 2836. You cant just fit a 3135 movement in the case you have.

I dont be fitting any movement ... i just have experience with my Noob V8 A3168 with date just fade off 15 mins before midnight and i was just curious if any other replicas do it same! I just purchased Submariner Smurf from BP with SA3135 and i am wonderd if SA3135 has "instant date change" or same thing like A3186 in my GMT Noob.

The a3186 is based on a 2824 movement hence the slow date change. For future reference, if you were to buy a 2836 based sub (or watch in general) it would have instant date change.

johnysub SA3135 is instant date change but the movement is very unreliable. date change issues, escape wheel issues. Is a nightmare compared to SH3135 and VR3135. Worse part you cannot get a replacement unless you get another SA3135. Just swap out the movement and sell the SA3135 as soon as you receive it.

In terms of accuracy i feel the SH3135 can do alot better being that some older models can accept some internal Gen parts. Both VR3135 and SA3135 share some similar problems that you cannot adjust the nut for the balance bridge, SH3135 you can do that.

If well serviced and tunned, the movement can be pretty accurate to +2 to -2 a day.
