building 16660 with gen DWO.. which movement? SA3135? SH3135? Yuki3135?

    Hello everybody,

I want to build a 16660 matt dial

    I have

-gen DWO 3035/3075 open 6/9 (fit on gen 3135??)
    -Richie's refinished matt dial 16660

I want to buy a 16600 BP and my question is :

Which movement is good with this gen DWO?

    -Sa3135
    -Sh3135
    -yuki 3135

    Many many many thanks

    Hi,

I will reply here instead of your PM's so others can learn as well

There are 3 different Rolex calibre 3135 clones: Yuki 3135, SH3135, VR3135. The VR is the best in my opinion. The SA3135 is not a true clone and is just shit, also my opinion. But most people will agree on this.

Make sure a 3135 clone fits in your 16660 case.

As for the date disc, a genuine 3135 date disc will fit after a small modification or use a genuine date seating plate. A 3035 date disc will not fit and the numbers are printed in the wrong order. Because the 3135 date turns clockwise, and the 3035 turns counterclockwise. The link you showed is for a 3035, not a 3135. I know the website states it is for both, but it's not. I learned this the hard way too...

An open 6/9 date disc for 3135 is very very rare, I have some, but they don't come cheap. A regular one is cheaper.
