Good morning!

My sub has had a rattle for the last few weeks and I removed the cover to find the oscillating weight had fallen off. I attempted to put it back on but in doing so have ruined the movement... Can someone confirm for me what movement I actually have please? It was ordered as an A2836 so I was quite surprised to see it labelled as a 3131. Cheers!

A2836...decorated as an 3131, a lot of parts available...gen parts normally fit so you can get a Franken...what did you ruin, maybe it is an easy fix.
Normally when the rotor has come off, the screw can be found somewhere in your mvt...when you wind it it can damage the gear.
If you are in Holland I am happy to take a look..

Brilliant, thanks for that!

It may well be repairable, I tried to refit it, and after trying to push the pin that holds it in place in it’s stopped working... And the second hand now moves with the minute hand if I try to adjust the time... Probably should have left it to someone who knew what they were doing!

Thanks for the kind offer, unfortunately I’m in the UK.

I also received a submariner with 3131 movement when I asked for 2836.

Anyways a week later the rotor fell off. The problem it that I don't think it's screwed in and have no idea how to set it in place again.

Usually the rotor is held in place with a flat head screw but the head on this particular thing is smooth with no slot for the screw driver. Any ideas?

I just realised there is a cap covering the screw underneath. All sorted now
