SH3135 Essential Upgrades

Great! I bought 2 gen 3135-540 for around $110 with shipping. Does this mean that I do not need to change the 3135-510? Build quality of this part in the SH3135 is good?

I’ve just bought my first sh3135, an ARF dj 36 mm, and first thing I bought (I still not have the watch in my hands ) is the gen roulette datewheel. It will fit with no mods?

I have also to add the two reverse wheel and nothing else? The sh3135 should have the correct date jump at midnight right?

The gen pallet fork works fine on the SH3135/yuki. Any one else had any difficulties occb2 misiekped

I have. I was just speaking too Mike (Misiekped) about this this weekend. The real pallet seems to be too small. The bridge doesn't make it snug. Maybe if you use a real pallet cock then it will work. I will try it with the pallet cock and see but I have not had any luck using a real pallet on an SH3135. Mike said he has had some luck with some.

Hello mates: Is this automatic device original? Look the reversing wheels, second photo look good, but photo number 8 look like paint with nail polish? Is authentic? any recommendation? You can point me in a good one (origina)? Thanks in advance...^^

Interesting read. From talking to different people, I have gathered the following list of parts:

To address Date Issue:
3135-614 Date Jumper
3135-645 Date Corrector
3135-204 Winding Pinon
3135-625 Date Wheel Mounted
3135-623 Finger for Date

To make it more "reliable":
3135-540 (x2) Reversing Wheels
3135-600 Date Indicator Seating
3135-670 Intermediate Date Wheel
3135-205 Sliding Pinion Wheel / Clutch Wheel
3135-280 Hour Wheel

Hope this helps. Maybe someone can chime in with the importance and level of reliability improvement with each part.

You guys have to keep in mind that this list has a possibility of being rendered useless with the V2 release of the SH3135. Looking to hear for those who have already worked with the V2.

Most new release ARF s supposedly are v2.
I just ordered the arf DJ v2 with sh3135 v2 mostly out of curiosity of the movmnt.

I remember reading some of angus posts mentioning the v2 but never elaborated about what to expect as improvements alongside the datefont wich is obviously visible! None of our experts have explored it yet to know for sure what upgrades were done to it as i know

A small pair of pliers and rotate the stem counter clockwise. Yes a SH3135 can take a Rolex winding stem. An SH3135 can take mostly all real rolex parts minus balance. Understand that when you start to hybrid the SH3135 that not everything works perfectly and jewel hight differ sometimes. So if you plan on buying a part especially used, make sure the jewels are in good condition and there.

I got the prototype of the new ARF 116610LN 3135 and the improvements are nice. I posted pics on my breakdown. The ARF 116610LN is not a good rep but the movement is great. Very clean and very well oiled. The amp is normal and not super high like a dry movement and I can change the date at midnight with out the flaw of the SH3135. I still haven't broken it down and messed with it to see what was upgraded due to work and being crazy for Christmas time. I plan on having a lot more time after New Years and doing more watch stuff.

Do you think that a GEN DW fit on the V2 of SH3135 without any issues? Because I just ordered my ARF SH3135 few days ago...
Because my watch smith was saying it’s possible that the DW will not fit on it.

Don't know. I had planed on taking it apart before the holidays and got bum rushed at work and haven't had much time to do watches. As soon as New Years passes I should be ok and will have a lot more me time to mess around. I have personal watches and friends watches sitting here that need completing. As soon as I am caught up in a week or two I will look and let you know.
