Hey Guys,

i have a 116610 Noob V7 Sub, since few days the A2836 Movement stop working.
I can't set the time / date.

Today i opened my watch and i found a small metal part in the back case cover.

What would you say from which part is this little piece?
Yoke? Date unlocking Yoke?

BTW
Is it possible to change to a ETA2836-2 and use the Datewheel from Asia2836?

Looks like part of the movement keeper clamp. Turn the rotor, you should see two of these(circled) holding the movement in place on the case.

If it broke, find the other half. Can get new ones on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/162222154138

Yes you can swap for a ETA 2836, might have to swap over a few pinions from the old one, but it's do able.

Thank you Rick914 for your reply.

No, its not the movement keeper clamp i already checked it before. The broken piece is smaller.

This sounds the better solution is to swap the DWO from A2836 to 2836-2...

Yes, for sure. It's will be pretty easy. Some are glued on, some have sticky dial dots. [emoji106][emoji4]

Instead of moving the overlay why would you not swap the datewheel itself? That's a lot easier, at least for me.

I do the overlay between movements since most are off my a little bit between one movement to the next. You are correct though, it is easier.
Then you would also be swapping a Asian part for a ETA part. Don't think either way is wrong or right, just preference.

Just out of interest, how long did you have the watch for before it stopped working?

Thanks

In my parent's basement
that is quite a mystery, i can't recognize it. just swap it to an eta (genuine) 2836. all parts are interchangeable. clones are cheaper and work well if new _ i always opt for clones due to supply and cost effectiveness.

The watch was ~6 months old (daily watch)
