Hello I want to swap my 2813 for a high beat. 2836-2 seems the best option I think? Is it doable? What steps do I have to do?

Thanks

Possible, but not worth it. You'll need to get new hands, datewheel, the dials feet will have to be cut, etc. As you see you're better off selling it and buying a better one.

You may want to check the movement width & height. As i believe they are not the same.

2813 - width 25.8 mm × height 5.45 mm
2836-2 - width 2.56 mm × height 5.67 mm

as you are using a bigger movement the rotor might brush the the case back. Also the stem height is different as well.

Miyota 8215 is a direct swap, I'd consider this if you are looking for an upgrade route.

My 2813 in my Rolex sub I have right now is not keeping time wel (-16min/day. I would rather put a high beat movement in it while I am at it. What is the best an easiest solution you suggest without buying a whole new watch? Getting new hands and so is no problem. Looking for getting into watch modding so a little bit of work is no problem.

What do you guy suggest?
