Morning, I have a Daytona and I don’t know if this is user error or a intermittent fault with the Watch.

When I wind the watch for the first time ( 20-30 ) winds the watch starts ok but when I check back in a few hours it’s last about 1 hour of time and I can see the sub dial not moving.

I then wind the watch again and it’s totally fine doesn’t skip a beat - has about 2ish days power.

Am I doing something wrong?

Do you also wear the watch or just wind it?

Wear it :)

If you wind the watch, then it should last you about 2 days before stopping. If you wind it and wear it every single day and being quite active (not a couch potato) then it should last you everyday without stopping. If it does stop during the every day wear, then the automatic module would need cleaning/lubricating. In that case I recommend a full movement service, this should last you a few years.

PS. I have had this problem before.
