Hello everyone!

Just got my Submariner Date V9 with the 2836 movement and it’s running great! My question is, right out of the box, should I send it for a service?

I’d like to have it “waterproofed” as well, is there a watchmaker on here in the US that would be recommended to for this kind of work? Looking to hear experiences from those who’ve sent theirs out and what kind of turn around you had.

Thanks for for your help!

Any watch from the factory is recommended to have it serviced and waterproof.

There has been a thread where other members spotted pubic hair in the movements (yes- i kid not you, an actual “gen” pubes)

So I’d recommend sanitation as well.

A service on a clone will cost as much as a new movement. Just wear it till it fails....
