I recently picked up an IWC 40mm ZF Portugueser from Trusty, and I had the service and waterproofing done. The watch itself is pretty solid, although I can't for the life of me understand this behavior. The minutes and hour are accurate and the timegrapher has it at -5 sec. However, the seconds hand doesn't keep track with a known good clock. I'll set it at, say, 12:00:00 and start my phone timer. After five minutes the watch will be exactly at 12:05:45.

Cursed? Wrong third wheel? I'm baffled.

I guess the seconds wheel is purely decorative right now, but it irks me that it could be that off.

This has the seconds at 6, correct? If so there's a gear train that runs it....I think 3 gears total. They may not be meshing properly.
