The calibre 11 is closes to the original one and has the crown at 9 with a flat dial,
Calibre 12 is new model with the crown at 3.

I have a gen C11, can share some pics if anyone is interested (don't have the rep so can't do side by. side compare).

No. It's a Seiko VK, so the chrono hand sweeps. No other seconds hands. The 60 register is a 24 hour hand

Agreed, that Gulf version looks pretty nice. As far as "obvious issues" goes, I think (at least to my eyes) that the light blue stripe is a shade too light but it could just be the lighting. Still, no one is going to know unless they are holding them side by side.

I ended up going with a special edition of the Monaco. The dial has faults on the minute markers which I accept and can live with. The strap is of poor quality but I can also live with. I knew it wasn’t going to be a super rep. Love the Monaco

Got it from Trusty, not a TD here but used them for the first time.
