Hi everyone! I’m looking at purchasing a calibre 16 from one of the trusted dealers. Can someone suggest the best person to speak too please

Any of them will be able to assist, drop them an email or check any of their websites not all have a site though.

I'm also looking for a TAG Calibre 16. Heard good things regarding a TD named Ryan from Intime, so you may want to drop him a line as their website seems to have some lovely pieces

You might want to look closely at the pics of the Calibre 16 though as the front of the bezel says Calibre 16 yet on the 'see through' back of the watch it says 'Calibre 1887'?

As a consequence i'm looking at the 'TAG HEUER CARRERA CALIBRE 1887 Ceramic Bezel - Black Dial'.

I’ll keep that in mind. I just want it as close as possible to the original and I don’t mind paying abit more

Hey mate I saw the back of the watch which clearly has 1887. Does it matter even if the movement is 7750? Sorry still getting my knowledge up when it comes to replicas.

You are purchasing a rep that is supposed to match the look of a Gen. A Gen Tag with Cal. 16 has a caliber 16, not the 1887. (the Gen Caliber 1887 is an in-house caliber, and I don't think the Caliber 16 is) So it does make a difference in the world of Gens and so in the world of reps. Since it is a displayed case back, everyone who knows a minimum in watches will notice you got a fake if it's written Cal.16 in the front and Cal.1887 on the back.

By the way, I'm putting up my Carrera Cal.1887 for sale. Look it up in sales' section.

Thanks for the info mate muchly appreciated. I’ll keep that in mind. Also I’m looking for the watch your referring too but can’t locate it. Can you send me some me images and information I might be interested. I’m slowly getting educated in the world of replicas thanks goodness

Well, I just checked Puretime’s web Site and the Calibre 16 seems to be updated with the correct rotor’s decoration. Even comes with a Gen ETA, a bit pricey but looks pretty decent.

Wow I just saw it on their website and it's $1168 USD. At that price you can find a used gen one for a little bit more.

The biggest and most notable difference is the rotor wheel and caseback says Carrera 1887 where the gen says Calibre 16
