I have just ordered a [FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]ARF Factory Rolex Ref.116613 Submariner in 904L Steel V2 Edition from trustytime.cc, the movement inside is [/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Nickel[/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif] Plated Asia 2824-2 Automatic Movement, 25J, 28800bph, is this any good?[/FONT][/FONT]

Yes, the less "tweaking" that is done to an ETA clone, the more reliable (and less expensive servicing) you are going to have down the road.

So, head to head the Asian 2824 automatic movement at 28800vph VERSUS Asia Clone VS3135 Automatic Movement, 28800bph... 2824 is easier to service, may be more reliable? Anyone have detailed info on the pros/cons of these two movements?

There are post galore on RWI over this topic. But think about it. Made the way it should be, or adding on "complications." I personally almost go with the straight Asian movement.

We are talking about 1. undercover manufacturing and 2. China. Obviously they are not going to run a batch of 100 for 5 years and then investigate why 7 of them stopped.
In general, they are good enough. Gens also fail. Reps also have premature failures. The difference is no rep factory will offer you N year warranty. But, again, in general they work reliably for years (5 - 10 or more)
