Looks like a reclaimed ETA rebuilt with Asian parts. The shock absorber is definitely not correct for an ETA.

Runs for 38 hours after you take it off? If so then that is expected power reserve.

Why not? I dont know it in detail, but I am sure that I have had Swiss ETAs without a novodiac shock absorber, but with a incabloc shock absorber.
Sorry for asking, I would like to learn :)

actually higher grade ETA 2824-2 have incabloc shock protectors. the novodiac shock protector is considered the basic option, with the incabloc being better.

I am a bit confused now. But I think, this the shock protector spring might not be an indice for being mixed up with asian parts. Or am I wrong? :)

That is an ETA and it does have a Incabloc...

I see nothing indicative of a clone in those pictures

Thank you @Raddave for clearing this up for me. I was confused after reading that there might have been added clone parts.

Anyways, I got this one for 80€, serviced from the M2M and it's going to be built into my coming soon Pelagos[emoji5]

Yes it is a genuine ETA Swiss 2824-2 all right. The better ones did come like that. A bit rare but did. Actually when they first came out, the 2824-2 AND the 2836 -2 had Incabloc shocks in the beginning. The 2836-2 was the first to sport the Novodiac shock system. So, I guess it was a cheaper one to use. The 2836-2 was actually a cheaper movement. The 2824-2 could be had in COSC approved ratings and was used and still is in a lot of high grade and high quality brands to this very day.
