That's a fault that all the ARF DJ's carry... you're not going to get one without this bold date wheel... its a ~ £150 fix for a gen date wheel anyway. It's not a big deal.
Some of the QC pictures where it looks like they have thin date wheels is just pure luck... and also a bit of deception, only using the numbers that have thin print etc.

As stated above, some are better than others.

Latest v3 DF looks decent. Not yet perfect but better than before.

Here are QC examples from 3 recent ARF V3 Watches.

The a2824 font seems better than a3135 font in general but you can decide for yourself from pics.


(date “29” is from 3135 watch, looks bad, the rest are a2824).

The ARF V3 sub DW are pretty close on the A2824... if they had that in the 36 DJ, I would defo get that

I’d rather stick to the ARF due to the bracelet and clasp quality over other factories which are pretty flimsy...
