How to empty out the trash folder in the private message

I think we used to be able to do that but I can't seem to do that anymore. After I selected all, there isn't an option to delete or empty them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

This isn't possible anymore, this was putting a strain on the database due to how Vbulletin handle that operation and since we are not limited in size for PM storing, we switched this off.

Oh, so there's no way to completely delete the messages and they'll just be sitting in the trash folder then? Thanks.

Yes exactly, they just sit there, but it's not an issue to have a lot of them here
