I have a case, movement and hand set for 3135. Looking to complete the build. I build watches as a hobby by up to this point its been homage parts.

the 3135 isnt the stock movement for a DateJust II or DateJust 41, so aftermarket or gen dials won't fit. You have to figure out what dial feet your build will take. You'll probably need to clip the feet off and stick the dial on or drill holes for the feet in the movement ring.

Yes you are correct. It's a submariner movement. I have a milgauss and submariner case as well. I didn't realise it wouldent work. So I need a submariner dial. The dials are the only parts I couldn't find easily. That's why I initially thought there was something about it.

I'm going to build all three to wear but I figured I would start with the Datejust because that partial kit showed up last.
