Everyone needs to understand that when you point a digital camera at a BLRO anything goes with the colours you are presented with. The camera will change the colour beyond any reasonable assessment. The colours on screen do not represent what you see in hand. Judgement should be reserved until you see it in the metal.

exactly, 50% of this threat is about the colors, totally pointless until some of the experts have the Pepsi in hand and give their opinion about the colors compare to mk1 mk2 mk3.

I'm sure VR would not switch to the much weaker 3186 GMT parts. The had a great thing going with the VR3185, they had to know it.

This new VR3186 should only be different in that it is based on the updated VR3135, which unfortunately has the fake free sprung balance decoration that puts the regulator and beat corrector arms in an inconvenient location.

BTW all of these but the 116710 BLNR should have been engraved 3285 and are undoubtedly going to set time and hour jump backwards from the gen 3285s. Oh well. I'm surprised they didn't just make the Barman oyster a 126710.

I started from the most recent post and worked my way backwards to finally reach this reply. I just need to say THANK YOU for explaining this. I noticed the movement on JTime website was not the VR3135 that I’m used to using in my mods and was very curious wtf movement they were using in this release. Nice to know there is an updated VR movement. Hopefully it’s as good as the old one. I adore mine lol. You rock KJ.

For anyone anal enough to worry about machining the flat ring part of the bezel area it can be done. This is a sub bezel, Managed to slightly change the angle to reduce the scallops size and have room for a little flat Only reducing the bezel hight by about 0.085-0.01
probably easier to get a better bezel from another factory haha

Hand comparison.

It may be the angle, but it looks like GMF can earn some extra money from selling hour hands :)

Wow!!! Congratulations! This is a pure beauty!

At least now we can see the color transitions of the 126710 in sunlight and indoors!

The colour transitions in the gen. Pepsi inserts have always been like a fusion of the red and blue together, never a clear cut straight line. You can see this in the gen. pics. above.
None of the rep makers have ever succeeded in achieving this effect.
It is actually the same for the Batman inserts if you look at them closely though the effect is less prominent than the Pepsi due to a blue/black fusion.

Do we actually have pictures of the case engravings? Is clean actually engraving one BLNR 116710 and the other 126710? The crown guards are the same on both right?

When the 126710 Batman first came out with jubilee only, it's CGs were skinnier than the 116710 Batman with oyster. There were also some differences in the case shapes between the 126710 Pepsi with jubilee and the 116710 Batman with oyster.

ARF's 116710 Batman (and LN) with oyster has the markedly skinnier CGs, that are much more like the first release 126710 Batman with jubliee.

Here's an ARF 116710 Batman with oyster on top and a gen 116710 Batman with oyster on the bottom.

Here's a comparison of two gen Batmans

Some have said part of the reason for the case shape changes in the 126710s was due to how the jubilee bracelets attach to the case. The jubilee springbars are thinner in diameter with different size tips. The lugs on the 126710 are also slightly slimmer.

Since the release of the 126710 Batman with jubilee, I've seen many images of it with thicker CGs, like the 116710 Batman with oyster has. So Rolex may have started using more similar cases at some point.

The new 2021 126710 releases all have the same case shape in digital images on Rolex.com

This would make the most sense from a production standpoint but we'll see if it holds true in reality. In any event there are enough variations in existing gen CGs that you could get away with having just about anything reasonable. Even the CF CGs, lol.

I always wonder why the factories can't nail the length of the hands.... I know colors are difficult.
