I guess they improved the transition but colour remains the same.
Honestly, personally thinks this is almost the best the rep factories can achieve. To really hit on the correct hue for the Pepsi insert is kinda beyond a meaningful investment for them.
Don't forget it took Rollie years and numerous process modifications to bake out the acceptable peosi ceramic insert that they are pleased with

Rep factories are putting together 2 halves, so they could have the colours they want if they cared

Silent updates on the insert by clean
CLEAN is unsurpassed in its insert manufacturing. This is astounding. Colors should improve over time, it's all they have left to fix.
Edit: Well, besides the terrible bezel assembly. Above comment was referring only to the insert.

The "pepsi" insert colors are the most important things about the BLRO, and Clean is far off. Add to it the known bezel issues and the Clean BLRO offering isn't quite there yet. But the factories are getting closer.
I’ve been able to overcome this issue using a 1200grit sand paper and a dremel buff wheel.
The method is similar to doing a 1911 trigger job where I just polish all metal to metal surfaces without altering its Geometry too much. This eliminates the need for lubricants and improves bezel action significantly.
Their spring steel quality is the limitation here. The material seems cast and not forged and perhaps of lower purity hence the different shearing pressures at different friction points causing the sloppy action.
Even the cut is pretty rough as you can see -indicative of poor smelting process so not much can be done to help it perform like the genuine made but it certainly helps the sloppy action
The crystal ring is markedly improved by the polishing even the Gen bezel and spring works flawlessly with it unlike when before it was polished.
New factory C+ is rumored to be coming out with a new pepsi that will spot a tinge of purple on the blue bezel.
Am still waiting for more pictures to confirm.
And oh yes, with a clone 3285 instead of a 3186.
