Yeah I've never read anywhere that it is one piece now. It seems unlikely as there are many different sizes of crystals, and placements of the cyclops.

Anything is possible bro, especially with advanced technologies today. But we are a skeptical bunch and like to see stuff in writing. Next time you see your AD, tell him your rep buddies are calling him out unless he hands over the Rolex memo for our perusal.

More than anything else I am skeptical about the idea of creating a crystal comprised of a cyclops from a single piece of sapphire. it seems difficult and uneconomical to me, it seems way smarter to produce 2 different pieces and then glue them together with resin or whatever compound is used

As I said, I just wanted to make a contribution to finding information. Maybe there is a statement from Rolex itself. I can imagine that (which is important nowadays) you can save employees because you can make a crystal out of one piece by machine. Adhesive residues would never be an issue that would have to be polished off.
But I'm not a specialist, I just refer to my colleagues.

As information: He didn't want to sell me anything (or already has), he has no reason to lie. He is the shop's sales manager and a official learned / educated watchmaker.
Well, we will see.

Would be cool to have official source for that, clerks at ADs are known not to be the most knowledgeable of the bunch, some of them are just clerks, and say stuff just because. Most of them are not "watchmakers" or "officially learned", but if you say that he was the sales manager it could be, i'm just not convinced lol.

Would be cool if it were real, but I'd like to see some official statement for it. :p

Ok, i received my first 126610 LV and i must say that I was stunned by the quality in general. Great job VSF!

Great crystal, great BH effect and great Halo Effect, I compared it to my 126234 gen and i must say that the practical result is the same, there is almost no difference between the 2 cyclops. Same look for both the 126234 and for the 126610.
Definitely not worth buying a gen 126xxx crystal for the VSF.

I'll compare it to the two tone watches i posted earlier when i can :p

Hello guys, I got a new beauty with an AR LEC Crystal, I must say that the VSF’s one is amazing, the distortion is minimal when compared to the genuine one IRL, it’s way easier to see it on pics than irl

I freaked out after I found out that my new arf sd 43 didn’t have blue hint but apparently story is the same on gens, i did a bit of research on gen Rolex forums and sd43 didn’t have that, some people say it’s the adhesive that Rolex introduced and it was a benchmark for the company and still new 126xxx have the blue tint. Not really sure what’s happening but looks like some models does not have blue tint
