The Anticipated Rolex by N2F

I was excited by the prospect of an Explorer II with a ceramic bezel so when Rolex released the 2021 Explorer II with little changed I was disappointed. I realize that they took the safe route and remained true to their design form but the option would have been smart. Well N2F did it!

I never expected Rolex to do this, and I'm glad they didn't. It looks messy.

This factory must have bet on them doing it and produced a batch.

The design might be tempting - I made a 5 digit one that I like.

The N2F sample could use some help - there's cyclops distortion plus you can see parts of two dates. Also a polar dial doesn't benefit from floating hands (black roots). In fact, those are black dial hands (black and silver), the Polar H/M/S hands should be all black, real shortcut there. To it's credit the hour marker lume plots are nice and white, something Noob can't do anymore and has given up on in favor of silver marker surrounds instead of black. Nice.
