May I ask, which 5-digit are you looking for? I haven’t seen many decent 5-digit Day Date or Datejust lately (and I love the silhouette of the old 5-digit models too).

It is no OOTB …. Cause such was never available :(
It is a build from separately sourced parts (lots of GEN parts) and a complete reshaped case and the head+bracelet also reworked and than gold plated.

I can give more details, when I have it in my hands ;)

I hate to burst a bubble. But the font on the Day is absolutely not even remotely correct. Here is a Gen. one. I offer this mod on the 2836.
You can get a Gen Day Wheel and Gen Date Wheel and mod them on the 2836.

And I hate to burst your bubble but that is a low end generic day wheel - for sale here:

Not only do you not know what you are talking about, but you also appear to be trolling for customers/work.

And it's your first post - I suggest you take a deep breath and start again.

I hope you are not trying to charge gen prices ($250) for that poor aftermarket day wheel ($32). That would be a really bad idea. Terrible, terrible idea.

That is just a stock image. Chrono24 has them for about $250.
The D the R and the A are big tells.

No it's not just a 'stock image' it's an image taken from ewatchparts/WSO99 - the photo belongs to them because they took the photo - it is a photo of what they sell as a replacement day disc for Rolex 3155 calibre movements.

And the biggest tell on that day wheel is every single fucking letter. [h=1][/h]

I offer this mod on the 2836.

You don't "offer" anything here, you are not an RWI modder sop you don't come into our home and offer services especially given that POS datewheel you just tried to pass off as a decent replacement. I seriously suggest you do some reading and find out how this place works, it's not a free for all vehicle for you to make money, you can go back to Reddit for that.

Sorry Trailboss. I've been a member here since 2009. I can provide my previous alias in a pm. Was a supporting member as well. Unfortunately I used to use this forum on a pc. Not on a cell phone. Now I had to download tapatalk. I came here looking at info in regards to the new datejusts with the 3235. As I am going to mod them. I'm a watch maker I guess you would say. Hope you're well. Maybe you remember me maybe you don't. Hope you're well.
Using that font as an example as well as the shapes of the R D and A was why I used that image.
Also, are people still using MMM? He does terrible work. He's the reason I bought everything for watchmaking as he literally robbed me.

Any more info on the 5 digit DayDate, I have been looking for one of these for months, even tempted to put out a bounty for any information on where I can get my hands on or build one. They have become so rare and fall into a sort of unknown category. The 5 digits just hit so much harder than the newer models

I have sold mine here >> https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...-gen-dial-gen-18k-crown-gen-18k-bezel-eta-mvt

Yes, these 5-digit Day-Dates are really rare pieces.
Not often that these appear in m2m sales. The reason is: most people like their builds and also these cases are quite rare nowadays.

Im considering buying the same now! I want a 36mm DayDate in yellow gold.

My opinion is divided based on getting a 904L bracelet with an Asian 2836-2 or the BP factory edition w a 316F bracelet and swiss ETA 2836-2.

Thoughts anyone? Thanks

Where did you saw BP factory using swiss ETA 2836-2. Are you sure it's not Asian ETA ?

Some TD's are offering the older BP Day-Date model (ref. 118238 -- model type before the actual ref. 128238) with old used and refurbished Swiss ETA movements.
Save your money and buy an Asian 2836. These are very reliable. You can bring the Asian 2836 to your watchmaker to make a small service and movement regulation and these mvt are running strong and reliable for long time.

Better to source by yourselve an Swiss ETA2836 and change it than.

It's impressive how much interest there is on YG DD.

Date on these has always been one of the flaws factories for a reason have had a hard time matching. It is impossible to expect a watch that is gold plated to weigh the same as 18K.

I am currently looking for a SS 40 DD with green dial. anyone have this and Can get us a review?
