Hey friends !

I own a frankened Arf Datejust 41mm v3 with A2824 and the Rhodium Dial ! It has gen crystal and dw installed !

I've bought now a gmf dj41 A2836 with wimbledon dial !

Now the question , can i change the dials of both watches plug and play ? Asked Interaktiv already, he believes it works but he is not sure about it ..... maybe some of you know better ?
Thanks

You should be able to, both dials have feet in the same place. Also, it's possible the GMF is a 2824. Factories sometimes advertise a 2836 when it's a 2824, I've seen it more than once. There is no need for the more expensive 2836 in a DJ.

There is no standardization on dial sizes though. For example an SH3186 ARF GMT dial will not fit in a VRF VR3185 case, it needs to be shaved down about 0.3mm.

You will need to take both movements out and measure the dials, or just insert one movement plus dial into the other case and evaluate fit. The stem heights are different if the GMF is really a 2836 but that won't matter in assessing dial fit. The date windows should line up with the cyclops on both, those should be common placement for both movements.

The Dials are changed now . Just wanted to write here about it !

The Dial from the A2836 Gmf dj41 had the feet in other position than my Arf v3 A2824 Dial ^^ Also the diameter from the gmf Dial was a bit too big .....

Left GMF and right ARF

Here final result :

Nice work bro, looks good.

So the GMF dial feet went into the movement holder, yes? I've seen that before on some BP's (partner factory).
