ROLSUB0350 - Blaken Sub

Hey guys,

Newbie to this site, lots of great material to get through!

Am considering getting my first RP and quite like the look of the Blaken Sub (green face), seen one on trusty time

I don't see the point of paying extra for 904L steel if you're getting a PVD watch.
The A3135 isn't as good a movement as the SH3135, VS3135, etc. for the most part- some of it's luck of the draw.
What about getting that watch in 316 steel and PVD with a asian 2836-2? Chances are it will work out better for you

Something to pay attention to on PVDs is whether or not the polished parts of the case and bracelet are polished (glossy). PCLs, link edges, case sides, crown, etc. You may want that but some factories don't do it that way, everything is matte finish.

Unfortunately there isn’t many PVD coated watches to choose from. But they are addictive and all look great in their own right.
