They just use different case/movement suppliers thats why there is so much difference between LV and LN.

That's not entirely true, from my information from China is that cases and end links are made by the same provider as for movement they are made by vsf. That's why it's very hard even to source a vsf 3135 or 3235. At the end it all comes down to whom was assembling your watch. There are just old and new cases. It's crazy that Rolex can have qc tolerance but rep fsctories not lol. It's the rep game it's just a matter of luck at the end of the day.

Iam not sure about that because look at the newest LN cases they are still cases with misaligned Rehauts and the "R" error this can't be the batch from September/October seems more like they using two different case suppliers. That would make more sense, also for the moment, seems like most of the LN movements are rough and LV are mostly more soft.

Took the stickers off and sized it just recently, I have been wearing the LN for a couple days now, it's amazing! What a great watch. Some more genuine comparison pics, unstickered!

great photos! Quiet funny that you have a Gen with the blueish/greenish cyclops tint to compare it. Seems like VSF maged the cyclops very good.

I noticed the last ROLEX beside serial number for my friend’s lv and your posted ln are the same. Looks abit like R O L EX.

Sorry the stickers are still on, they are not coming off for the time being.

I'm certainly enjoying filling this new box up! There's a couple of genuine watches in there and some reps.

I'll add some more comparison pics tomorrow.. feel free to ask for requests if you wish to see something in particular compared.

Your second to last pic pointing to the crown. One thing that is an immediate tell, and no rep has ever gotten it right, is the recess for the finger nail to open the clasp. Notice how that recess on the gen goes edge to edge and the rep (any rep) not. Just that alone is the very first thing I look at before bothering with anything else as for all intent and purposes with the naked eye they are indistinguishable these days

Mine arrived yesterday from in-time. It has lost 1 minute in the last 2 hours. I guess I will live with it for now then have it serviced. For the price paid I don't think you can go wrong.

1 minute lost in 2 hours?? That is absolutely insane. Mine lose gain 3-8 seconds a day

modernclassic how do you deal with the sharp corner edges of the case and the sharp crown? Is it the same on the Gen? I have the LV version of this watch and it seems to be little sharp. Never had the chance to hold a gen Sub.

A gen is somewhat sharp (bottom points of lugs) but not piercingly so. Also, gen case sides (bottom edge) are smooth, reps usually you can scrape your fingernail. Easy fix though in both cases

Did you wind it? The first page of the Submariners owners manual, it says that before use, you should unscrew the crown and give it 40 winds. Did you do this?

Buy a demagnetizer. It sounds like it was magnetized during delivery.

Appreciate the close up pictures. Nice to see they fixed the issue even though it’s not terribly noticeable. Just ordered a 116610 a few days ago and asked to see some closer pics of the rehaut to see if it’s fixed on my batch too

I don't know if this is correct or not, however this is the QC pics that Sead sent me when I placed the order. I share because are better than mine pics.

I was looking for a long time for a great rep and I was about to decide on ZZF but this one is truly a game changer! That will be my next watch to get and VSF is indeed the best (I already own a VSF Omega and Panerai).
