At what point are thought talking about. The bottom of the third link tapers to meet the removable link width. That is the taper. So the the bottom of the third link is the same measurement as the removable links its just much easier to measure a flat than the corner of a tapered link. Taper is 21 down to 17 or thereabouts. Not 17.5. Clasp on the other hand may be wider than gen but someone would need to check

The guy is full of it but some just can’t help it! The third link tapers to meet the removable links at 16.96mm precisely! Clasp width on mine is 19.25

I could only go by the video comparing both, the person measured the VSF taper to 17.5 and Noob at 17. If that's the case then I am assuming VSF fixed it quickly. That's great! I have my reservations otherwise but that's good progress

I learnt many moons ago that you never take anything as gospel in Chinese videos! Or images for that matter. You never know the agenda of the poster of that video. I have it in hand and it tapers correctly and they probably always have since vsfs inception!

I mean, no ones raised many issues with flaws, not like subs of old. Maybe that’s because we don’t have many gens knocking around and we’re not as familiar with it as the 116xxx or maybe it’s because the first attempt is really rather good.

I’d like to see the movement under daylight.

Thanks pal! Yes it is a very good rep. My biggest gripe is vsf still doesn’t get the edge profile of the crystal right. It’s too sharp angled compared to gen but most will not notice that on the wrist.
Bezel rotation is stiff on mine but at least it doesn’t move all the time which bugs me too lol. Movement is very well finished. I’ll test the reserve over the next few days.
