Just received my new BP 16618. Really nice quality and good gold color. I added a gen crown and insert. Wearing it on a leather rally as the bracelet is a bit showy. May throw on a gen dial in the future but here’s some pics with the current mods.

Awesome. Colour of the insert cant be beaten imo, wonderful. Like Shotgun said, the gold colour matches perfectly, very cool. Thanks for the pictures.

I saw you mention that maybe you’d consider a gen dial sometime. I only have a TC blue superluminova dial bought with a little damage - but here you can see it compared with the dial from my BP 16618 and the difference is huge to me. An improvement to me, for sure. It was cool to enjoy the difference. Check this out. I bet gen would be miles apart from this rep TC dial I have too:

popi2020 ‘a good rep like gen’ - my BP 16618lb I would not be able to describe any part of the watch being or feeling like gen, nope.
But for a bit of cheap fun only. I do find the yellow golden colour tone of BP attractive though . But the watch is not like Rolex to me. So many details are very rep. And it feels low cost. If you want a fun cheap watch, it’s worth trying out. If you want a really nice rep maybe not so good. I’d be excited to see if you buy the SA3135 and made modifications like gen datewheel and popped a dial on too though.
And I love the look of the original poster’s watch on leather strap too!

Nice watch you got there!
I have both the GEN and franken BP (gen crown, date and dial)
This watch is SO close to the gen there is no way to tell its rep unless you have it side by side.
The BP is more green side by side, but on its own its hard to tell apart!

Peekman Your gen dials are so good-looking. Nobody replicates Rolex bluesy blue well-enough to my eyes - I wish.; They’re gorgeous.
Are you finished with yours or would you ever think about using a gen AR crystal with the engraved rehaut watch to make them even more different-looking to each other dude?

I don’t own a gen bluesy dial superluminova dial
Someone awesome here sold me a beautiful gen serti dial (the best) and I have a TC bluesy dial (my TC blue dial is not exactly like gen but to me it looks better than BP stock dial by some way). I have pics of the BP and TC bluesy dials above this comment somewhere.

I haven’t got a comparison for when it’s on the watch.

My impression was that the BP 16618 felt like a very cheap toy watch and I would have felt bad even to give it away for free because my initial impression wasn’t good, but the sweet points were that it has an attractive bezel’s insert, attractive golden colour, attractive shape overall to me.
If you get a SA3135 16618LB to play with and add some gen parts or better rep parts to it I’d love to know what you think because my feeling about it is a bit different to the guy who owns a gen and BP side-by-side. So it’s really cool to see all of your different opinions!! and it’s such a lovely little low price.
