Oh I didnt see the link or the article when i quoted you before taptalk didnt load right. But yeah those tells are BS. Im not handing over my watch to a stranger if who questions authenticity. I guess its a decent guide if you are making a purchase but even still i feel like 99% of people wouldn't be able to make that call having them side by side. I think the ONLY way would be the way the dial reflects. Even then im going to say 90% of people handling them wouldn't be able to differentiate rep from gen.

Well mine is -4 s/d 260 and 0.01 I still accept as I plan to either service or replace with VR3135. But I’ll see how it goes after wearing it for few days.

I thought the tolerance is writing spec for your timegrapher result?

Out of curiosity and serious question, if you did decide against servicing it; why would you replace it with the VR3135?

Is it because of its being on the market longer?

No, this complete balance is for 16610. Tried with jf and vr no luck but with vs it works as I posted earlier, so I guess I can use more gen or generic Swiss parts.

I realised a lot or most of VSF dw is left aligned on certain dates so was planning to change to gen dw. At the same time I saw Vrf that comes with dw as well which is why I’m considering it.

But to answer your question, I would say somehow I feel that VR3135 could last longer after reading on some issue on the VS movement here, which is why I need to get the watch on hand and try it myself 1st.

The factory QC of the Subs from the big 3 ZZF, ZF, and VSF have been solid for the most part. They’ve all been pretty consistent with some exceptions here and there.
