Insert markers in the black are noticeably thinner than the ones in blue. Arghh.

Wow the difference is pretty drastic.

I wonder if theres any chance this is pre-production and could still be fixed before release. puretime what are the odds this would be corrected in their V1...

This is final already, a senior member is buying it for a review and you can wait for his review before making a decision.

KJ you have a keen eye as always. Hoping it’s just the lighting or the fill. Waiting on proper photos and a video. It’s still looking like the best Batman insert we’ve had so far.

unfortunately i don't think this is the batman we wanted. the fat numerals are too much to unsee....the speed bumps add to that. 2 flaws on the same piece just makes it rough. its all about the insert/bezel....and its a huge let down with the 20 different version attempts thus far. very sad....so the noob piece is what we must look at for now.

one question .... I have read that many of you say that the ARF hands do not fit VR3185. I have to contradict , I've always mounted them, never had any problems
This is ARF with VR3185

I've has some fit with no issues at all too bro. But I have also had some where some hands do not fit without crimping or broaching. GMT hand too loose, minute hand too loose, second hand almost always too tight. Several others have had these same issues, so it's not a one-off.

I did a movement swap on my ARF 116710LN and can verify that my hands did NOT fit properly. I had to mod the minute, GMT, and second hands in order for everything to work accordingly —> minute and GMT hands needed to be tightened, while the second hand needed to be opened in order to fit on the pinion.

That's quite an interesting input.
I did'nt know they could fit, that gives a new perspective for the 116710 LN.
ARF watch + VR3185 = an almost perfect GMT then.

this is the photo of a gen, as you can see it also seems here that the black font is different from blue. it's just an optical effect due to the color difference. the insert is good in both font and color.

that's right, it also depends on the lights. my gen with and without light
I think good insert now ARF

a good build in my opinion, after comparing them with mine, would be:

Base Watch ARF
Movement VR3185
Crystal gen

if you want to be picky, GMT gen wheel. the DW gen is not needed, that stock of VR is fine!

Not everyone has had your luck with this conversion bro. There is ample evidence that problems can arise.
