Is it because you have an existing relationship with your AD that you don't have to wait as long?I'm a lifelong Rolex guy ever since I got my first Rolex in 1967. Yes I'm an old guy now.))) I never loved the big case 6 digit subs and complained about them for 10 years now. Unbalanced on my wrist ... not well proportioned. I had the 6 digit sub, GMT Master, and Exp II ... didn't like any of them and sold them all.
I had the new 41mm sub on my wrist yestetday. As soon as I saw the new 41mm in reality, I knew they had gone back to the balanced proportions of the 5 digit sub. To me the past 10 years are like a bad dream sequence from a tv soap opera.
This one in pics is a poor effort. Doesn't look at all like the gen 41mm. But the reps will improve quickly soon enough.
I ordered the no date model yesterday. My AD says they will have one for me after the new year. Not so long wait, I think.

You know you're old when you remember Bobby Ewing's deus ex machina return...I had the new 41mm sub on my wrist yestetday.
