hello everyone I apologize for my incorrect English but I am Italian and I use a translator. I bought a 116520 arf v2 which ootb in my opinion is really gorgeous! I just wanted to change the caseback and put a thinner one ... Can I mount the noob one without having to change anything else? if so, where can I buy it? or do I need to change rotor etc etc? Thank you all! :)

I didn't mod an ARF Daytona before, but if I recall correctly from what I read (please feel free to correct me), people generally did the following mods to get a thinner case-back:

1. Source and install a jf 23j Daytona case-back (which is thinner)
2. Remove the deco plate
3. Install a Swiss ETA 7750 rotor

Where can I 23j Daytona case-back?

Where can I 23j Daytona case-back?

Those are long out of production bro and only available M2M. But a Noob 4130 caseback will work also. You can ask a TD or check M2M sales.

I have already done it, I received a few days ago the 7750 rotor complete with screw, I removed the decoplate but once the 23J case-back is installed the rotor does not turn because it touches the case-back.
How can I fix this?
thanks in advance for the advice…

Install the OEM 7750 rotor (remove ARF deco plate) and put in a Noob caseback.

This is what I have done… but with 23J case back the rotor is stuck

I had the exact same issue when I did this mod. I sent it to Domi since I wanted to do a full service anyways and he said the issue was the 7750 rotor I had bought. He ordered the correct one and it worked perfectly.
