a VSF xmas...what’s the word on the rehaut? Are they now fixed? I legitimately want to buy the v2.

Also, to the point above about gen-like from afar, I have no idea how they’ve accomplished it, but it’s true.

Receive my VSF, VS3135 stops after 2 hours, looks like it's not winding, I read that is a common issue lately, I am pretty pissed off, so now, have to spend money to fix this s****

this is a quick fix. When you pull the crown out, wind very “quickly” once. The gears should catch and it will wind normally from there. Haven’t had any other problems.

What’s the long term fix for this issue?

In saying “Quick Fix”, I mean that I haven’t dealt with the issue again - it’s been working well even without a a fast rotation on the first wind. However, a true long term fix would require watchsmith repair.

Initially, I kept removing the caseback to manually re-engage the winding gear (which sucked).

Now I don’t think about it. Discussed in more detail here:

Nearer than you think
904 is slightly brighter and shinier

This is absolute bullshit and it's been proven wrong, you would be seeing the difference between the VSF clasp and the rest of the watch, but NO ONE noticed.

If there is a difference it's given by other things, like finishing and polishing, or the general composition of it.

Don't fall for the bullshit magical 904L steel

Seems like one spot on my cyclops is a little fucked up. I just noticed it on the photos only spottable in daylight not in electric light. Seems like it was also on my QC I just missed it but I just hate the Cyclops anyways maybe I buy a gen or something :D

Edit: for some reason all of the pictures are highly compressed -.- will fix them later.

I’m not sure if I should buy this or vsf 41mm sub.
41mm vsf still needs some refinements.

Both are amazing watches, 41mm has a nice clasp imo and a 72 hours power reserve. Both are great options, you won't go wrong with either of them. Don't let comments from a few stop you from enjoying a nice rep, was the same at the beginning with the 116610LN people said so much shit about it and it turned out to be the best option. Those are my two cents, I'm waiting for the no date either in 41mm or 40mm.

I was thinking about pulling trigger on 41mm LN but after reading stuff about inaccurate lugs i started thinking about 40mm sub instead. I actually prefers new 41mm with slightly thicker bracelet and sleeker case.
I compared pics of vsf 41mm vs gen and ti be honest I don’t see too much difference in the lugs and case l, if there is a difference it’s just a fraction of the mm. I think lugs on vsf may be just a slightly bit thinner but it’s hard to say on pictures. I don’t see any issues with curvature of the case. I think there is are some unhappy bullshitters around Rolex subsection of RWI.
today I will pull trigger on vsf 41mm LN.

Fixed that..
..I always crop my pics, saves a lot of scrolling.. or you could just use zoom on the camera.. :):welcome::woohoo:

I actually didn't crop it cuz it was taken at low light so cropping would make loose the resolution lol but next time I will crop it. Have nice holidays mate!

You saw the last photos from Gen posted today, Vsf nailed the release imo. are there things that could be improve, for sure but don't let that stop you from enjoying it. It just the same two dudes, on the 41mm sub and datejust thread, their arguments are not based on verified information, no one on that thread that actually got the watch complained about it. It was the same exact story with the 116610LN. Let us know your thoughts when you get it! Happy holidays
